The backstory
In 2024 I was made redundant from my seven-year role in a creative agency. Facing a competitive job market and wanting to bring in money, I decided to start something of my own. A dog walking business that would get me outside, give me flexibility, and let me design everything from scratch.
Building the brand
I went out, bought a van and fitted it with crash-tested crates, then built the brand from the ground up: a bold but approachable identity, a professional website, and all the marketing materials to go with it.

Getting it out there
I designed and delivered flyers around the local area, printed t-shirts with the Ruff Routes logo and wore them on walks, turning everyday moments into brand visibility. Within a couple of weeks Ruff Routes was up and running. A project that blended creativity and practicality, and reminded me how satisfying it is to build something completely my own.
